Extremely unusual antique early celluloid faux tortoise dangle earrings. These heart-shaped charms have the initial celluloid split jump rings and pierced hooks! Fantastic. They are extremely light-weight, and the hearts are delicate, thin, and feminine. Alone they determine 1-3 / 16 inches x 1 inch (31mm x 26mm) not consisting of the jump rings and hooks. Overall condition is charming for their age with minor wear in the form of subtle scratches, nicks, and scuffs / areas – absolutely nothing major. One heart has a teeny small chip found on top edge of the backside, which appears faintly green. Another heart has a little whitish mark on the backside. The openings and jump rings can make use of a gentle cleaning. Due the delicate nature of celluloid, I did not try to clean these and will certainly leave that as much as you.
