  • “Not only is this recipe easy, but it tastes great. The gravy has excellent consistency and good flavor because of the worcestershire sauce. I would recommend this recipe to anyone who enjoys a good, hot breakfast! You won’t be disappointed.”

  • “Excellent recipe! The result rivals the best restuarant biscuits and gravy.I added a few dashes of Tabasco but other than that, I stuck to the recipe exactly.Really, really, really good, and I was raised in the midwest on biscuits and gravy! Thanks Kelly”

  • “Love it! Didn’t have Worcestershire sauce, and only had Spicy Caribou pork sausage, and it turned out great! I made it for my husband for the morning(he wakes up at 5 am) so a plate of this will be sitting there with biscuits just to pop in the microwave and eat:-) Hope he loves it as much as i do! thanks! great recipe!”

  • “Added a small clove of garlic but otherwise followed the recipe exactly.Reminded me of breakfast at home with my parents. Thanks for sharing!”

  • “Love this simple wonderful method of making sausage gravy!Perhaps it was the sausage I used, but I saw no reason to drain off any excess grease; there wasn’t that much there.I’ve made it a couple of times and I really like it when you let the sausage and flour get golden before adding the milk. This the way I will e making it from now on! (leftovers were great when reheated with a little milk.)Thanks Kel!”

  • “Our whole family devoured this, we did add a dash of tobasco, and served it over pillsbury grand biscuits. Thanks for such a great recipe!!”

  • “Yum! I’ve never made biscuits and gravy- or really even wanted it- until I became pregnant. Now it tastes SO good. This is a great recipe. I made it as written with a few small additions. I used a combo of cream, half and half and milk. I added a dash of red pepper flakes (as I used mild sausage and felt it was a bit bland), a substantial amount of fresh cracked pepper, a little onion powder and a small pinch of summer savory.I made homemade baking powder biscuits to go with and some scrambled eggs…perfect dinner (or breakfast).Don’t be discouraged if it seems runny- it does thicken nicely.”

  • “This is the best sasuage buscuit and gravy recipe that I’ve ever had in my life. This recipe could have only come from a cook that really knows her stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks for posting this recipe, now I can be a great cook at home.”

  • “Great recipe!I usually buy canned sausage gravy and my kids all agreed this was much better than the store bought. One slight difference is that I skipped a step- browning the flour in the sausage. I mixed up the flour and seasonings right into the milk, tossed it all into the pan w/ browned sausage and boiled. It thickened up quickly and was ready before you know it 🙂 I also would put a little more salt from what I initially used (a few shakes) the next time. A very good recipe that has the homestyle flavor. Great!”

  • “I lost this recipe and tried to use other’s that I found on other recipe sites. NOTHING was as good as this! I had a houseful (my 5 children and their spouses, sodoubled it, used 3 cans of biscuits and served it with a side of mixed fruit. The breakfast received rave reviews and everyone went back for 2nds (I am so glad that I doubled it!). This is safely tucked into my favorites for our next gathering. Thank you for a great recipe, that was easy!”

  • “Mmmm…just what we were craving on this cold Winter morning. Such a simple recipe with delicious results. I added some crushed red pepper for a little extra heat. Loved it! Thanks for sharing the recipe.”

  • “First attempt at making milk gravy and it was delicious. I made my biscuits from scratch – they taste better! What a great way to warm up on a cold morning! Thanks for the recipe. I will be making this easy recipe again!”

  • “The first time I tried making biscuits and gravy, my gravy came out clumpy cause I did something wrong. So I decided to try a different method of making the gravy and found this. I’ve made this three to four times now. My husband loooooves biscuits and gravy, and he absolutely enjoys this recipe. It’s also a lot easier to make than the one my mother-in-law tried teaching me. ;)”

  • “So good! My DH and 3 boys loved this. I didnt have biscuits so i just did it how my dad did, and used texas toast bread. also didnt add much pepper because of the kiddos. we just added as much as we wanted when we made our plates. will be making this again and again!!!! :D”

  • “Now THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about!!Fantastic!!”

  • “I used minced dehydrated onions and gluten free flour and it came out delicious. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to make and I love that it didn’t require using the extra grease from the sausage. The only thing I thought it needed was a lot more pepper than just “to taste”.”

  • “I made these this morning for Fathers Day for my husband.Only the 2nd time I have ever made biscuits and gravy…I asked him to taste and he just looked at me and said “WOW!!!!Those are better than Cracker Barrel in Tennessee!!”Great simple yummy recipe!!!!Thanks!!!!”
