Simple squares + basic sashing + simple borders + extravagant quilting = one magnificent quilt. Sixty 3 squares of SOUL BLOOMS by Amy Butler are set in plain, creamy white lattice which is entirely & quot; & quot; doodle & quot; quilted with matching thread. Each square is quilted with a 4 petal flower, like the ones in the prints. One square is quilted with a heart – like a goodnight kiss. The thread used is a variegation of lime and pink. Variegated thread of lime and kiwi is utilized to quilt swirls in the kiwi narrow border. An open heart scroll in the large border of fantasy flowers on a blue-green background is quilted with the same variegated thread as the individual squares. The corner squares are a quilted dahlia design on the exact same kiwi as the slim border and are quilted with the exact same thread. The back of the quilt is peacock with lime green leaf sprays. This is a contemporary quilt for the back of a couch, foot of the bed, or for use as a table cover. It would also make the perfect college graduation present The quilt is full and all set to be sent by mail.
