  • “I’m sorry I just cannot agree with the other cooks here in rating this.It should be called tomato rice instead of “spanish rice”.Without the added cumin and crushed red pepper I put in it would have been, um awful. If you love canned tomatoes with rice, try this.If you want spanish rice, keep looking.”

  • “If you are sick of the same side dishes this certainly spices things up. My family loved it.”

  • “This came out tasting really good when I made it. I followed that other reviewer’s advice about adding cumin. I did just that and it did the trick. I also added hot sauce into the mixture before cooking to give it some extra kick.”

  • “BF made this for dinner last night.Easy for sure, and no added fat!Recipe does not state whether to cover the dish or not so he covered it loosely with aluminum foil. Also, he turned up the heat a bit to 375 degrees after about half an hour.A jalapeno sounds like it would have been a tasty addition too. Thanks! “

  • “DEAD easy and fantastic! The only thing I did different from the receipe was add chili powder and cumin for a kick. This receipe will be a staple in my household!”

  • “Great recipe! Due to time constraints, I didn’t have time to bake this, just heated it all together in the pan, and it turned out wonderfully delicious! Thank you so much for putting this on recipezaar! I will repeat this recipe again and again! The kids and my husband all had seconds and thirds…I may have to double the recipe next time! Oh, and I used green peppers and some yellow and red Hungarian peppers–gave it a little kick but not overpowering at all. Like I said, the kids especially loved this. Thanks again!”

  • “Delicious!!I added one chopped jalepino pepper to give it a little bite, also used up some sweet red pepper and green and about double the onion.Sooo easy to put together and soo tasty we will be making this again, thanks for sharing.”
