  • “Yes this was very easy to make. But it was a little dry and I only used 1 3/4 cup of minute rice.I might try adding some tomato sauce next time to help with this.I also think it needs more of the taco seasoning. When I served this I put the chips on the plate then the meat miture and topped it withthe cheese and other toppings.I will be making this again as the kids liked it but I will try those to adjustments. Thanks for sharing this quick recipe. Made for Zaar World Tour 2006 “

  • “fast, simple to make & tasty, everything a person in a rush could ask for.I added a few cloves of garlic & it turned out great. Thanks for posting a sure to be often used recipe Christina.”

  • “I agree with other reviewers..very good and easy.I did use 1 1/2 packages of taco seasoning and this was perfect. Also I used cooked rice. Thanks for a quick supper recipe.”

  • “I didn’t use any beef in this dish as I wanted to make it as a side dish! I followede the rest of the recipe exactly and it was really good. I will try it with beef another time. This is a keeper.”

  • “great recipe that i will definately be making more of.next time i might try adding two packages of taco seasoning though.extremely fast and easy!”

  • “I got this recipe off the back of a Minute Rice box ages ago. I make it at least once every 2 weeks. My 4 boys really love this meal. IT’s fast & easy & tastes great too. Good recipe post! “

  • “What a delicious spin for a rice dish!! It’s a fast meal , and so tasty!!! We will definitely be making this again! The only change I made was to use regular , longer cooking rice , instead of the minute rice. It worked just fine!!! Thanks for a great recipe!! ***edited to add , I froze this in a gallon size zip loc freezer bag , gently flattened it out and popped it in the freezer. When it came time to reheat, you could literally just break off as small or large a serving as you wanted. I did a cereal sized bowl serving, and it reheated on high, in my microwave for only 2 minutes! Great for a busy night!!!!!”

  • “this was pretty good. when i served it up i put it over about a half a cup of crushed tortilla chips, over that i put about 1/4 cup of medium heat salsa and added about 2 tablespoons of sour cream.i will make this again it was very good.”

  • “My whole family loved this one. Which makes it all the better. It was so easy to prepare,I love those 15 min meals and it’s so much better than hot dogs on one of my daughters cheerleading practice nights. Thank you so much for a great addition to my list of quick meals.”
