“I wanted to make a spinach dip that included cream cheese instead of the usual ‘soup’ variety. I was very pleased with how this recipe turned out. It had a lovely flavor and texture. I didn’t have any plain yogurt on hand so I substitued Breakstone’s Lite sour cream. Since it was Christmas morning and I was in a hurry to get done, I used 1/4 tsp. garlic powder instead of mincing a garlic clove. One bit of advice, if you need a double batch still prepare them one batch at a time. My blender really had trouble trying to blend all that cream cheese. Great recipe!”
