This listing is a knitting pattern for a packed toy version of Admiral Ackbar from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, stylized like the timeless Red Mouth Sock Monkey Toy (so it’s a hybrid of the 2). The combination of Admiral Ackbar awesomeness and timeless Sock Monkey style leads to an adorable, cuddly stuffed toy great for Star Wars fans both young and old.
Completed measurements are: Upper body and head = 10 “area, Visit toe = Approx. 21 “long, Legs = 8” long, Arms = 7.5 “long, Legs and arms = 5” around, Head = 8 “from dome to chin
The pattern is 12 pages long and includes pictures, diagrams and detailed directions. Technically, it requires that you be able to knit in the round, crochet brief chains, so short-rows (I offer comprehensive instructions for the short-row areas), do a three needle bind-off (I supply some rough directions for a three needle bind-off) and have the ability to do a provisionary cast-on (NOTE: I do NOT provide instructions for doing a provisionary cast-on in the pattern)!. Stitches needed are: knit, purl and reduction. The mouth and nostrils require some standard embroidery and the general assembly needs some hand sewing.
