< br/ > I have made the ring by hand utilizing sterling silver, the band is a durable 2.3 mm broad and has a rustic hammered surface. The setting is formed like a tiny crown and firmly holds the opal in location.

The opal is artificial so is harder using than natural opals. It is white with pretty flashes of pale pinky lilacs and minty aquas when it catches the light.

The opal is the birthstone for October and symbolises hope and great luck.
