  • “Excellent base recipe for taco salad with the flexibility to make it as spicy or mild as you like.I scaled it down to feed 4 and used a 10 oz can of Mild Rotel tomatoes with green chilies in place of the green chilies called for.The extra canned tomatoes made up for not having fresh ones on hand. I browned the beef, garlic and the onions together, then added 2-1/2 teaspoons of the seasoning mix from Recipe #327486 and a 1/4 cup of water to the drained beef mixture; simmered until the liquid was reduced and then proceeded with the recipe. The seasoning mix is one of our favorites for tacos and that combined with the Rotel added a nice spicy kick to this recipe. Thanks for posting, JoAnn!:)Made & Enjoyed for the BB Tag Game.https://www.recipezaar.com/bb/viewtopic.zsp?t=323225”
