This listing is for a remarkable set of three pink wooden Russian nesting dolls or Matryoshka dolls, all hand repainted, and with a wood burned motive of a Russian church on each of the dolls. They have a lot information, are painted in beautiful pink and gold. This is really a remarkable nesting doll.
The large doll is approx. 6 3/4 & quot; (17 cm) high and 3 1/8 & quot; (8 cm) width, at her best point.
The smallest doll is approx. 3 1/8 & quot; (8 cm) high and 1 5/8 & quot; (4 cm) width.
This nesting doll set remains in very great vintage condition, but does have traces of usage (there are some pencil lines made by the maker) and it is an insufficient set.
On the base of the biggest doll there are some lines burned, I can not read it, I think it’s Russian.
