White Batiste Baby Dress – Vintage Cotton by tinymuses

I think this vintage baby gown dates from the fifties. It is made from a white cotton batiste fabric and has a remarkable hand. It is in really good condition and newly laundered. Please look carefully at all the pictures for the small information. The 2nd picture is the best representation of the real color.

The gown front has dainty faggoting and machine embroidery between two little pleats. The hem is 3 & quot; & quot; deep and sewn by hand. I believe it might be quickly discharge if you desired to extend the dress.

The neck edge has a tiny scalloped edge. The puffed sleeves have a plain 5/8 & quot; & quot; band. The back closes with 2 little buttons. There is an extremely small tear in the material near the leading buttonhole, about a 1/4 & quot;& quot;. The buttonhole is great and a couple of little stitches would close the gap. You do not observe the tear when the gown is buttoned
