A wind chime made from ceramic bars, hanging from a driftwood crosspiece. You understand this is a wind chime, since each bar is embossed with the word & quot; & quot; WIND.
I developed the five stoneware bars embossed with WIND, then hung them from an area of driftwood I gathered on the Oregon coast.
I hung the bars utilizing a very strong cord which is resistant to UV rays from the sun. I connected a hanger of brass wire and brass cable television.
This chime makes a good noise which is both mild and unique, a little like glass chimes, but with a lower pitch and a more earthy noise.
the overall length, including the hanger is 18 inches (7 cm), the driftwood is 8 inches long (3 cm), and each ceramic bar is 6.5 inches long (2.5 cm).
