  • “Very good, basic clam chowder.I thought the texture was just right, but it could hae used more flavor.I would add some herbs and/or spices next time (like thyme or parprika for example).Overall, this was enjoyable and easy to make.Thanx!”

  • “I sauteed the onions first, then did the rest. Added the clams at the last and 2/3 the amount of milk for a slightly thicker soup. My canned clams had some grit to them, not lovin’ that. But, the flavor was good. Enjoyable but I’m not sure I would make it again because of the grit, not the recipes fault I suppose.”

  • “This was a really great chowder. Not too clammy & not to milky. I did add cooked & crumbled bacon as that’s the way mom made fresh clam chowder growing up, but other than that made as directed. I served it with Recipe #211925.Thank you for posting, MizzNezz!”

  • “I loved this so much. Easy, yummy and not terribly bad for you. If you want, you can use reduced fat milk and I can’t believe it’s not better and it’ STILL delicious.”
