We finish our signs with a sealing wax, it does not contain any satin or high gloss finish, to continue to give your sign that vintage/farmhouse look, while maintaining a long lasting finish. Every sign is hand painted and hand made for each individual order. Each sign will significantly resemble one another, while having its own characteristic due to the knots, wood grain and slight variations of each piece of hand cut wood. We do not try to cover up, change, or get rid of any of these characteristics, we feel this is what makes the sign unique. We lightly distress the frames to add to the rustic/ farmhouse look and will include small imperfections which adds to the rustic character of your sign. Our frames are made from cut pine, and put together with wood glue and high quality nails.
