Skincare Goals for 2020 – Musings of a Makeup Junkie
A new one from me, but an important post. As the new year approaches, we often talk about our New Years Resolutions. Whilst I don’t believe in changing things or doing things totally different just because it’s the New Year, there’s plenty we can do better ourselves as human beings. I don’t want to title this post a resolution, because it’s not. This is more about what my skincare goals are for 2020, and I know if I write about them on my blog, for the whole world to see, I will be more inclined to include this all as part of a lifestyle change. I have come up with a few goals if you like, for what I am hoping to do and achieve in 2020. Goals Drink more water Try new concentrated serums Wear less makeup Try brands I’ve never used before Not wear eyeliner unless I have to (my eyes have become VERY sensitive) Have a weekly at home facial Educate myself even more on skincare Read more literature on skincare and beauty and the science behind it all Listen more to my skin Eat less dairy Lay off the fried foods Change my pillowcase every few days as opposed to weekly I don’t think this is unachievable, and although I have already started to apply the above to my life, I want to carry this on for the rest of my life. I spend most of my time reading about beauty, makeup and skincare, but I want to take it further and educate myself about the science behind it too. My pillowcase is changed and washed weekly, but I want to try and do this every 3 days. I am also thinking about switching to a silk pillowcase because it’s better to prevent wrinkles. Short and simple, these are my skincare goals. I’d love to know yours!
