With its striking color combination, this sundress and hat ensemble is sure to be a favorite of your 18 Inch American Lady doll!
The gown features a crossover corset and collected skirt. It is made from a 100 % cotton print of Navy blue and coral vines twining over a light blue background. The waistband and hand-pleated hem ruffle have gray and white dots arranged in a diamond pattern on a beautiful rust ground. Both the waistband and hem ruffle are accented with a prejudice insert of Navy blue. A rust-colored wood pinwheel button includes a completing touch to the waistband.
The bodice of the gown is lined with the dotted rust material and all exposed seams are serged for toughness. The gown falls simply below the knee, opens all the way down the back for ease of dressing and closes with snaps.
The totally lined wide-brimmed hat is made from both cotton prints. A big, hand-made decoration, centered with another rust-colored pinwheel button, adds extra design and enjoyable.
Like all of my garments, this attire is made with care and attention to detail in a smoke – and pet-free environment. Due to small parts, it is not advised for children under the age of three.
Doll, petticoat and shoes are not included.
