2 FP Me Girls, 2 Hair Tutorials
Alex Centomo and Catherine Belle are two beauties who you may recognize from across the internet. Their presence is strong, their following is large, and their luscious locks are something to talk about. One blonde, and one brunette… we first discovered these girls through FP Me, then quickly found their YouTube channels which are brimming with style and beauty inspiration. Natives of Canada, these two recently took part in all of our Vancouver adventures, so we thought it would be fun to collaborate with them to bring you two hair tutorials. Find out how to create their favorite hairstyles below!
Alex: Fishtail Braid
“The fishtail braid is my favorite go-to hairstyle because it adds something different to every outfit and makes it more unique. I love pulling it out to add fullness and make it more bohemian.”
Step 1: Curl your hair with any size wand.
Step 2: Add your favorite texturizing spray.
Step 3: Scrunch your hair to add extra volume from the spray.
Step 4: Section your hair in two equal parts.
Step 5: Add a small section from the outer part to the opposite side and repeat.
Step 6: Secure your braid with your favorite hair tie.
Step 7: Pull your fishtail as much as you want for that extra thickness.
Step 8: Voila!
Catherine: Boho Waves
“I love this hairstyle because it adds a bohemian look to wavy hair and can be worn with many different outfits.”
Step 1: Curl hair with an infinity wand.
Step 2: Section hair in 2-inch strands.
Step 3: Braid sections.
Step 4: Pull braids to make them look more full.
Step 5: Use your favorite texturizing cream. (Catherine used Bumble and Bumble Texture Creme.)
Step 6: Scrunch the cream in your hair for that messy look.
Step 7: Voila!
