2 stunning classic art postcards from France.
The very first one reveals the river Seine and the Institut in Paris. The Institut is a French discovered society, organizing five académies, the most popular of which is the Académie française. The card is signed with & quot; & quot; Manc & quot;
. The second card reveals the coats of arms of Comté de Foix. The County of Foix was an independent medieval fief in southern France, and later a province of France, whose territory corresponded approximately the eastern part of the modern-day département of Ariège. This card is signed too, however I can not check out the trademark.
The cards are from the 1960s, they were not postally used.
