Occasionally I look up in the the sky and fall into the stars.
They represent a memory,
a special time in place,
a person.
The stars look different every night, yet the same.
Like the sky is falling – tiny flecks of gold scattering down onto my shoulders.
The Sky is Falling Necklace is made around a stunning slice of Lapis Lazuli in rich cobalt blue speckled with gold. I have created a swirling filigree trail to one side of it mimicking the winds in the sky, oxidized for depth. Necklace comes on 17 inches of oxidized sterling silver chain.
