A Pop Of Pink To Brighten Up Your Look
A Pop Of Pink To Brighten Up Your Look
I rarely incorporate pink into my wardrobe.
My tomboy roots have always made me dismiss the color as soon as it’s in front of me, but I’ve recently felt the urge to give it another try. There’s nothing wrong with showing off a bit of a girly side to your style, and adding in a pop of pink here or there is probably one of the easiest ways to do it. This season, we’re especially loving soft shades of pink and rose, and the softness they add to an everyday look.
The key is to not over do it. Too much of any one color can be harsh, so it’s all about adding in little bits to give a softer and brighter feel to your look.
P.S. If you love the color pink, find out what that might say about you!
I like the way lighter shades of pink look paired with white. It makes for a clean and minimalistic look while the pink adds a bit of softness. For this outfit, incorporating two pink boy elements, like a leather jacket and beanie, keeps the look both cool and femme.

Brighter pinks are harder for me to wear, but I’m really digging the coral color of the Lafayette pleat pant. A relaxed and looser fitting style makes it easier to feel effortless while wearing such a bright shade.

Darker shades of pink are great for fall. I love the way this slouchy sweater looks worn with a pair of black cutoffs and rugged boots–cool, casual and cozy all in one!
