“Don’t let the amount of ingredients scare you off, this is a wonderful spice mix.”

Ingredients

1/2 teaspooncrushed dried coriander

1/2 teaspooncrushed, dried dill weed

1/2 teaspooncrushed dried rosemary

1/2 teaspooncrushed dried thyme

1/2 teaspoonmustard powder

1teaspooncelery seed

1teaspooncrushed dried basil

1teaspooncrushed dried bay leaf

1teaspooncrushed dried marjoram

1teaspooncrushed, dried spearmint

2tablespoonscrushed dried parsley flakes

2tablespoonssesame seeds

2teaspoonsonion powder

2teaspoonscrushed dried oregano

2teaspoonsgarlic powder

Directions

In the container of a blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients, and process on high speed until reduced to a fine powder.

Transfer to a container with a tight fitting lid and use as desired.

“Yum, I made this up and then made myself lunch: a chicken breast doused in this, pan fired in as little olive oil as I could get away with and then sliced and added a simple salad. Wonderful, I liked this very much, Just the right blend of flavours. I’d run out of onion powder so used dried onions flakes which got whizzed to powder in the food processor anyway, but no bayleaf becase DH thought it would be too woody and tough. Some of the mixture went quickly to powder while other bits spun crazily around the sides of the food processor bowl resisting tempation to meet with the blade, so not all of mine went sucessfully to powder, but the taste was there and that matters more.
