This trunk is a beautiful piece of history! Perfect for the foot of a bed or couch console table. Industrial casters make it a bit taller, if removed might be utilized as a coffee table. Flat leading slatted trunks were popular between 1870-1920. It is a good dark brown as the first image portrays.
Trunk is offered AS-IS. This trunk is wood and covered in canvas pieces, has a flat top and wood slats running throughout. The metal hardware is wonderful! Leather side manages are missing out on or worn on both ends. Interior wood in great shape. Wood bowed on back side. Does not lock.
