This big holed focal disc bead in tones of amber, ivory, creamy yellow and purple is prepared for you to core with silver or set any way you like. It uses a combination of dot strategies and has a distinct front and rear end. It started with a chunky huge holed glass disc that I created in the flame of my torch utilizing soft glass, and I included layers of dot ornamentation, a few of which are left raised. The bubble dots around the external edge are encased silver glass from Double Helix, which appears purple. The last image reveals an example of the possibilities for setting a comparable style bead with sterling silver

The disc bead has to do with 1 1/4 & quot.; in size, and is about a 5/8 & quot; & quot; thick in the center of the bead. The center hole is 3/16 & quot; & quot; throughout.
