This yarn is a 50/50 mix of infant alpaca and tencel. It is fingering weight with 400 yards per 100 gram skein. It has extraordinary sheen, and is really soft with a lovely drape. I hand repainted the yarn with professional acid dyes; it takes color extremely. This colorway is a beautiful semi-solid vermillion red. Perfect for knitting a shawl or weaving a headscarf.
