This is a stunning tea cup and saucer. It is a 5 & quot; & quot; saucer with a 2 1/2 & quot; x 3 1/4 & quot; cup. It is marked on the bottom & quot; & quot; Hand Painted Shafford, Japan. It is extremely light yellow, with a gold pattern. There are no chips or fractures. It is simply as charming as a button. (As my grandma would have said). It is from the 1940 era. The little manage is extremely detailed. On the other side of the manage, which I did not take the photo, has the gold detailing also. Thanks
