A pendant of black labradorite, aka larvikite, showing the particular grey-blue flash of this unusual stone. As you turn the necklace in your hand, you will see many various glints on both sides of the rock, which are similar in appearance to labradorite however are geologically unique. You might understand it by another name – Norwegian pearl stone, & blue pearl granite are two other methods I have seen it described.
The larvikite is 4 cm (over 1 1/2 inches) long; the sterling silver wire wrap runs about 12 mm (1/2 of an inch). The pendant has a silver plated chain with a special needs friendly self closing clasp to complete it.
