  • Reviews

  • “I have made a gazillion recipes for wings and so far this one is the very best!Baked the wings at 400° for 30 minutes, then poured off the grease, turned them over and returned them to the oven for 10 minutes. They were perfect.Did not make the dip, but will at a later date when the diet allows.Thank you so much – This is a keeper and will definitely go into my WOW cookbook.”

  • “Ok, I used the sauce and the baking method tonight on some wings. No dip.I had no vinegar, so I used some Worcestershire sauce instead, same amount. My wings didn’t crisp up, but the flavor was great.I will use this recipe again after I get vinegar and see if my wings crisp.Might give the dip a try too.(I usually don’t do anything to my wings dip wise.)It’s a keeper though, thanks for sharing!”

  • “We had the DGSs (very picky eaters) visiting so was looking for something they’d eat and yet was easy to make and decided to try this recipe that I’ve been saving for some time.It was perfect, went together so easy and fast and the flavors are spot on.Not to spicy for the kids yet very flavorful.Baking in the oven made them so much easier than other wings I’ve done and we had a great dinner on the table in no time that was enjoyed by all.I followed Marie’s advise and trained the grease then returned to the oven and they were perfect, not greasy at all.Didn’t make the dip, just used a bottle that I had in the fridge (said I was in a hurry) and while I’m sure the home made would be better, this was still very good.”

  • “I only used the sauce from this recipe, since I baked my wings, but it was excellent.Does the Anchor Bar justice.”

  • “Not zesty or zippy nor even hot. This is aaaaaaaaiiieeeeeeee!!!Wonderful all the way from the tip of the wings to the bottom of the dipping bowl.”

  • “Really tasty.I made my dip using Vegan ingredients because I don’t eat dairy products.I had this for lunch with a salad. The dip is really good. Thanks for the great recipe.”

  • “Review is for the dip!FANTASTIC. Best bleu cheese I’ve had.It tasted better after it sat overnight, but it did get runny. I added a bit of extra sour cream but it didn’t do much to remedy the thinness. Regardless, I’ll be making this again. Probably today. Thanks for posting!”

  • “I didn’t make the wings this way but used your dip and it was much enjoyed! Great for Superbowl Sunday!”

  • “I’m rating 5 stars from my DH and DS. I am going to tell you……I ate 2, even though I was totally on fire.) I always order my wings “naked”. I just can’t eat the spicy hot sauce, but I had to try the recipe myself tonight. For spicy wings…they were excellent and my DH asked if I bought “store-bought spicy wings”. When I told him I made the sauce, he said they were REALLY GOOD. That’s a rave review from him. HaI was rushed tonight and just used some pre-made dressing, but I will try yours too next time. Great recipe and thanks for making me look SO professional.I have never made better wings. Donna”

  • “These were great! I didn’t have a chance to try the dip but the wings are fantastic. The nice thing is that the recipe is very versatile because you can change the degree of heat depending on which hot sauce you use. I used Frank’s Red Hot.”

  • “The wings were nothing short of amazing! It’s SO easy to make too!”

  • “I use Frank’s REd Hot Sauce when making my wings and the result is fantastic. This is a great recipe. Love going to the Anchor Bar stil even though I live in Canada you can’t beat their wings.”

  • “These wings are to die for!Great things going on here with all the flavors combinations! One of my new favorites and one I will make again and again when company is coming, so they can help me eat em all! Thanks for sharing!”

  • “This recipe is fab! Tried it and love it! The dip is good…”
