  • “Very interesting taste! This reminds me of something I had out in the Amish Country, but I was not able to get the recipe.”

  • “Great tasting relish.I belong to a farm co-op and each week there’s always one vegetable or fruit that I just don’t know what to do with in the quantity that I get.Mainly celery. This is perfect.”

  • “Wow – this is terrific! An unusual combination of ingredients that cooks into a wonderful relish. It smelled so good while cooking too! This is great on crackers and sandwiches – can’t wait to try it on a turkey sandwich after Thanksgiving! Thanks for posting this keeper!”

  • “great taste………”

  • “Very tasty relish and so easy to make. My aunt used to make a recipe similar to this, brought back nice memories. I didnt have allspice so I added fresh ground nutmeg and left the vegetables chunky. This would work well with almost any meal. Thanks Sharon123, great recipe!”

  • “This sounded a little strange from the ingredients, but I tried it anyway, and it is EXCELLENT!The flavors blend into one of those flavors that you know you have tasted before but can’t remember where. And low fat too, very good.It should work as an excellent low fat salsa/dip, I’m thinking with corn chips. Thanks Sharon, always looking for something different to pig out on without feeling guilty!”
