This is a penannular brooch, a design that dates back 2 thousand years. It is used with knitted garments and cloaks to attach them at the neck. I make each one in my smithy, heating in the create to 1800 degrees F and after that dealing with the hammer and anvil, the exact same method these have constantly been made.

ring- – 3 inches in size
needle– 4.5 inches long
