This sugar jar salt cellar is wheel tossed stoneware clay. I thew a flat lid with a brought up deal with that folds over to form a loop. Glazed in a glossy to slightly matte, earthy brown with cream highlights. The brown speckles of the clay show through. About 6 & quot; & quot; tall with the cover and 4.5 & quot; & quot; broad rim to rim. The opening is 3.75 & quot;& quot;. Holds about 2 cups.
Non harmful glaze is food safe and dishwasher safe. Use this little jar for sugar, salt or anywhere you need a little jar. Also fantastic in the bathroom for cotton balls or on your desk for paper clips or tacks. I enjoy making jars and constantly discover uses for them !!
