    Ingredients

  • 4boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 4slicesemmenthaler cheese
  • 4slicesbacon
  • 2tablespoonscanola oil
  • 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 1/2 cupchicken broth
  • 1cupheavy whipping cream
  • 1 (4ounce) jars sliced, pimientos, drained
  • 1/2 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cupfinely chopped fresh basil
  • salt

  • Directions

  • FOR CHICKEN———————.
  • Place each chicken breast between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and, using a meat pounder, pound until 1/4 inch thick.
  • Place 1 cheese slice and bacon slice on top of each breast half.
