“I love to use the crockpot, and this was just the dish I love to make.It was put together in a flash, turned on, and voilà , a wonderful dinner.I only cooked it 7 hours, just to make sure the chicken breasts didnt dry out too much.Served with a green salad, and garlic toast.Truly a good crockpot recipe.”
“This was excellent!! I used 1 chopped onion instead of onion powder, and added one chopped tomato as well .. This was so easy, thanks!”
“This was a very good, easy dish.I modified the recipe slightly.I used two chicken breasts, used a can of Italian seasoned diced tomatoes instead of whole, no mushrooms, and omitted the pimientos. It was a very hearty meal for two people. The chicken absorbs all the wonderful flavors of the tomatoes and pepper. We ate with garlic toast, but I think next time I will serve pasta.I am going to be sharing this recipe with other family members. Thanks for posting!”
“Wow! This was good! I would rate it higher if I could! It made my house smell so good! I didn’t have any pimientos, so I omitted them. Also, I used italian seasoned canned tomatoes and it worked. Had green salad and bread for sides. Thanks for bringing us this recipe!”
“YUMMY! A very tasty treat and at 164 calories (3 WW pts.) it can’t be beat! I also added one chopped onion instead of the onion flakes, but kept everything else the same.At 7.5 hrs. it came out PERFECT!I was out of brown rice so I served it with whole wheat spaghetti and green beans.”
“This was very good. I have made something similar to this…but using different ingredients. The dish smelled wonderful while cooking (about 7 1/2 hours on low) I used an actual onion and I also used a 28 oz can of whole tomatoes instead of a 15 oz, and I also used a 15 oz can of chopped tomatoes (I love tomatoes in dishes!) I am sure that by adding flour or corn starch, the liquid in the dish can be thickened and maybe even serve over rice. Maybe! I will most likely make this again: the veggies in it are so good! The chicken was very moist as well. Thanks for sharing!”
