  • “OH MY GOSH!!! So wonderful and comforting. Really perfect for breakfast. The only thing is, I definitely can’t go running after I eat it :-)! I will make this over and over again when we have overnight guests (BF’s parents are coming in town for his recital in a month. This will be breakfast!)”

  • “I had printed this recipe a while ago, before it got reviewed, so I was surprised at the number of reviewsit has received, but oh my, it SO deserves them!! what a great recipe!! it took an hour in my oven, which is a bit cold I think, smelled wonderful while it baked!! thank you so much, I will make this again!!”

  • “I personally would have liked this loaf sweeter, but it was nothing a dollop of jam couldn’t help. However this recieved such high praise from my husband’s work mates and my husband, all stating it was sweet enough and delicious it totally deserves 5*…”

  • “This was a really great tasting loaf, that my hubbie luved. I substituted yogurt for the sour cream, since that’s what I had on hand, and it still tasted absolutely great. I think next time I might try to make the same recipe as a fruitcake and see what happens, minus the cinnamon. A keeper, thanks!”

  • “This recipe is very quick and easy to “throw” together. It made a very nice afterschool snack, loved it warm, and have made it twice now.Thank you!!”

  • “This loaf was so good & moist. I made last night for breakfast this morning. The only problem was that their was none left for breafast. Thanks for the great recipe.”

  • “Ahhhhhhhh, nothing better than cinnamon!! This was superb.I took Carol’s advise and doubled the sugar mixture, putting half on top.Everyone loved it.And the smell while it’s cooking is DIVINE!!!Oh yeah….mine was still a bit jiggly in the center at the end of the cooking time, so I kept it in the oven another 10 minutes or so.”

  • “I made this last night and it was very very good….It was very moist and I think the sour cream added alot of flavor….I will keep this one thanks !I also put some cinnamon and sugar ontop ..”

  • “Very moist and delicious! The cinnamon filling swirled through it is fantastic.I used only 3/4C sugar in the batter and it turned out very nicely. (We don’t like things too sweet.)Hubby requested the leftover for breakfast, so I know it’s a keeper recipe. Thanks, Christina!”

  • “24 reviews and the easiness of the recipe made me try this one,but believe me,it deserves 5 stars and it deserves every zaar member to try it out…..D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!!When I made this I really missed my co-sister who has moved to sweden…both of us have a sweet tooth and I really miss her company when I make all these treats..Thnx Graybert for a wonderful, light recipe!!”
