“I made this months ago and forgot to rate it.Didn’t have the red pepper or pearl onions on hand, so I justed used regular onions and left out the pepper.Also used a bit more fresh thyme, as I had it.We actually made a homemade pie crust and baked individual pot pies in little bowls with the crusts on top.It was positively wonderful, and creamy the way you expect.I’m sold that chicken pot pie must have green beans!”

“I made with onions, celery, mushrooms, peas and carrots, but followed the basic crust and recipe other than the veggie substitutions, as that is what we like the best.Great pot pie!To make it even faster you can buy the store bought pie crusts, rather than making your own, and use them.Just make sure you let them sit out for awhile so they are easy to move to the pie,and to cut and crimp the edges.This pie had no mention of how many crusts in the recipe, just in the directions.People not reading the recipe before they started preparing it wouldn’t know you either have to make one or buy one, so I took off a star for unclear directions.Still an excellent pie though and one I will share with my friends and family.”
