“very good. I didn’t have cranberry juice so I used 1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries, boiled them with everything else. When it was done I used an hand mixer to break it up added fresh squeezed OJ and strained it. I think the absence of the juice made it less sweet. I like this with our Thanksgiving meal for the “tea toaters””
“it was quite good, but too sweet for my taste.next time I might try a different brand of cranberry juice & less sugar.all in all, though, it was quite yummy.”
“I really enjoyed this tea. I used 100% cranberry juice, which may be why it wasn’t too sweet for my taste. I didn’t have any family size tea bags, so I used 12 regular size ones.I must say this tastes incredible hot, also. Very nice for the yucky rainy day we’re having today.”
“We thought this drink was perfectly delicious. Only used 1 cup of sugar, though, as we don’t like real sweet drinks. A great spicy, tangy, sassy flavor. I plan to make it again and serve for Christmas dinner. Thanks.”
“We enjoyed this very nice combination of fruit and spice, sweet/tart flavors.I used only one cup of sugar, and might even use less next time (I usually don’t add any sugar to tea with lemon).Very refreshing.”
“This is a great idea, but if I were to make this again, I would cut the amount of cloves way back because it dominated the flavor and I couldn’t tell there was cinnamon in this at all. I don’t usually take tea with sugar so I did find this to be sweeter than I like, but that improved somewhat by adding a large hunk of squeezed lemon. If someone likes Southern sweet tea, this would be great, but for those who do not, leaving the sugar out might be too bitter with the cranberry and adding it might not be an option for some. However, I am not judging the sugar for the review (which is mostly affected by the amount of cloves). Thanks for posting!”
“Delicious. Brought some over to my niece and her hubby and they thought the same. I didn’t have any regular tea bags so I used six bags of a milder one cup variety and decreased the sugar to 1 and a half cups as I prefer drinks that are not too sweet. Will definitely make again. Thank you!”
“This drink concoction is magic. I liked the spiced fruit flavor. There was sort of a tart zing that made things interesting. Family and friends liked it as well. Thanks.”
“I made 2 gallons of this tea and served it at our shrimp boil. It was a big hit. I could taste the sublte spices from the cinnamon and cloves and the sweet-tart from the cranberry juice. Those flavors combined with the tea were very thirst-quenching and delicious. Thanks for another super recipe.”
