  • “I love this recipe and can’t believe I have not yet posted a review!I follow the recipe as written, except that I add parmesan cheese when adding the spinach and onion.I then sprinkle a bit of parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs on top and bake in the oven until the “crust” is golden brown. This way definitely adds fat/calories, but tastes great! We like the leftovers (if there are any!) in eggs in the morning. Thanks for posting!”

  • “I’m now a spinach eater! :)”

  • “Delicious and easy!I halved the recipe and used half fresh spinach and half frozen spinach. I also added a few shakes of nutmeg at my husband’s request. I will definatly make this again! T”

  • “This is a great way to cook spinach for spinach haters! I actually love spinach, so I found the soup was a little too overpowering, however, it was a great way to make the vegetable creamy! We DID enjoy it today for brunch with baked eggs, bacon and cheese, and I would consider making it again over the Christmas period as a brunch accompaniment, but maybe without a full tin of soup, and a little spoon of creme fraiche added to it. I would also add fresh garlic and not garlic salt – but that is purely a personal preference. Thanks for a lovely recipe – amde for Slide in to Sides in the Photos forum, November 2009. FT:-)”

  • “Very easy, very tasty.I actually needed creamed spinach for a chicken florentine recipe, and since I was out of cream of celery soup I used cream of chicken instead.GREAT flavour!I had a hard time waiting to put it in my dish, I wanted to sit down with the pan and a spoon and eat it all separately.:)”
