“this is exactly the hot chocolate i remember as a child. i serve this at the hotel i work at, and each batch sells out almost instantly. anyone who thinks this is too rich, should not be looking up hot chocolate recipes, as this is the best one i have found”
“This Hot Chocolate was so rich and creamy. It was really fantastic and this is comming from not much of a chocolate lover. Thanks. “
“We made this last year on Christmas night and it was a huge crowd pleaser. After folding in the whipped cream, I added all the milk and heated until the temp I wanted to serve.Came looking for it again this season and thought I would tell everyone how yummy it is.”
“OMG, Bergy, this is some kind of wonderful!I thought for sure I was making a sinful mousse instead of a base for hot chocolate. This will definitely be served only on special occasions!Thnx, so much, for sharing this recipe.Made for Comfort Cafe Snow Queen Chalet Jan 2010.”
“Oh. My. Gosh. This stuff IS fabulous! It may take a little longer to put together but the end result is just delicious!EVERYONE should try it!I made the chocolate part yesterday and had some for my breakfast this morning ~ YUM!Thanks for posting, Bergy!”
“This was wayyyy too sweet for us, and even though we have a very sweet tooth, we couldn’t take it.I’m sorry about the low rating, but this just didn’t do it for us. “
“Scrumptious!I made it for my bible study group last night and they devoured it. Next time I’ll have to double it to keep them happy.Thank you!!”
“Our traditional New Years Day breakfast is always OUTSIDE on our deck, no matter the weather (we do have a roof though). This year we invited all our neighbors and I made this. It was a hit, creamy and rich. I made the refrigerated part a few days ahead of time, then when ready, I heated the 6 cups of milk in a saucepan, then slowly added the “Good Stuff” stirring to blend.(I could just eat this as is! Like a rich chocolate mousse), and put it in a crockpot on low setting (no lid). For the chocolate, I used a Ghirardelli “Sweet Dark Chocolate” baking bar and will use it again. “
“I love your Hot Cocoa! It really lives up to it’s name!”
