“What to do with all the tomatoes in your garden. Very fresh garden ripe flavors and homemade goodness. Also makes a great topper for sautéed chicken breasts, just add to pan last 2 min. of cooking.”

“this is AWESOME! My only suggestion is to drain the tomatoes as you are chopping them. Also, wear RUBBER (not latex) gloves while handling the jalopeno. I suffered with hot-pepper-burns for 1.5 days after making this, and there doesn’t seem to be anything you can do about it.”

“Great taste and texture! Suggestion! After handling the jalapeno chile, wash your hands and rub them well with a stainless spoon. That removes the smell and sting of the peppers. Works well for onion and garlic too. (Haven’t a clue why, but it seems to be a chemical reaction.)”

I had a bunch of garden tomatoes languishing on my counter so I decided to try out your recipe MizzNezz.I was blow away after I mixed it up and had a taste.YUM!I made a few changes,I used dried cilantro(1 Tablespoon as dried herbs tend to be stronger)and I used half of a large white onion,I had no green onion.And I completely left out the lime juice because I forgot it and after I had a taste I was convinced it was perfect for my tastebuds without the lime juice.Thank you for a healthy and delicious recipe,It’s a keeper!”
