    “These are pretty good.The holidays are coming and we always have leftover mash potatoes.These are fast to make–that is what I like–fast.”

    Ingredients

  • mashed potatoes( we use left over mash potatoes)
  • 1onion, diced
  • Directions

  • Add the onion to the mashed potatoes.
  • Form into hamburger shape.
  • Dip patties in flour on both sides.
  • Fry in some hot grease until golden brown on each side.

  • “This is a great recipe, but I added my own twist. Instead of potatoes, I used yams. After I mashed the yams, I added a little rice milk and sugar. After the flour step, I dipped the ball into beaten eggs and then I coated it with Italian seasoned breadcrumbs. Maybe about 10-20 seconds in very hot olive oil was all they needed. My husband, who isn’t crazy about yams, loved this!”
