“I”ve used this recipe a few times now, and I”m quite pleased with it. Although it is not complicated, the end result is wonderful.Depending on my mood, and the availability of meat, I”ve used everything from fish to pork to chicken to beef to lamb as the “
“Just so you know, I haven’t tried your recipe, but Chow Fun is a noodle dish, not fried rice, so you have your recipe name wrong. :)”
“Made for dinner last night, using some fresh (frozen) shrimp for the meat.We don’t keep bacon in the house so I did skip that part and used a combination of regular oil and sesame oil for the frying. This was easy to prepare and tasted yummy.DH had two big bowls of it and was happy.”
“I loved this recipe!I prepared it in conjunction with Crockpot Kowloon Chicken #17079 and Chinese Broccoli #28465.I didn’t add meat this time because I served it as a side dish. However, next time I plan to try it with small shrimp – can’t wait!”
“Decided to try this recipe because of the bacon.WOW!I’m glad I did. I used 2 eggs instead of 3 and immediately after scrambling the egg, I added 1 1/2 cups of raw, salad-sized shrimp and stir-fried it first, before adding the rice and remaining ingredients. This added a little moisture to the pan but I went ahead and threw in the rice and rest of ingredients and finished it.The result was a yummy flavored fried rice.I’ll be using this recipe again!”
