This rug is a new design from my studio. It’s a conventional rag rug, but with a little ZING with the colors!

Fantastic and uncommon, this rug was created and handwoven on my 60+ year-old rug loom. I have a lovely little studio in a 100 years of age stout German House in a small town of Wisconsin. My weaving creations flow off of my looms while I think about exactly what I desire to weave next

This is an extremely intriguing design with brand-new heavy cotton material, woven with inserts of colorful knit & quot; & quot; caterpillars & quot; that are from factory surplus products. Recycling at it’s finest! You are getting an excellent rug, and keeping a stack of factory textiles from cluttering up the land fills.

Vibrant triple layered folded hems are stitched securely on all four sides, not just throughout one seam like many other rag rugs. This method enables the hems to stay company and flat and do not roll up.

Strong well-woven rug with closely-set cotton/ poly warp threads. Cleans well in gentle cycle and hang over porch railing or bathtub to dry.

Washes well in mild cycle and hang over porch railing or bath tub to dry.
