THIS is why my shop is called Rock In A Heart Place … I LOVE heart-shaped rocks. I search for them everywhere I go. If you collect them yourself then you understand how hard it can be to find great ones. You need to & quot; & quot; kiss a LOT of frogs & quot;& quot;, if you know exactly what I imply (I have actually glanced at COUNTLESS rocks over the years).
And what do I do with them when I find them? I show them in little bowls, on window ledges or in the backyard by the door. And SOME of them I frame.
I have actually put together a shadow box to display 6 sweet heart-shaped rocks. They’re set versus a scrapbook paper background in a geometric pattern of white and tan. I have actually offered the shadowbox a white washed appearance by mixing water with ivory colored paint, then added a bit of a darker color along the edges and in corners to give it a somewhat aged look (a little & quot; & quot; worn-out & quot; in an excellent way ). It’s neutral enough to blend with any decor. It has a classic feel, yet is modern at the same time.
Shadow box is 6 3/4 & quot; high, by 4 11/16 & quot; large and 1 9/16 & quot; deep and holds on the wall by a sawtooth-type hanger. Dollar costs is to aid assess size and is for screen functions only.
