As (s0me of us are) 80s and 90s babies, most of us know mood rings as dinky novelty items we got as kids. But they were all the rage in the 1970’s, one of the biggest fashion fads of that era. Representing self love and personal awareness, we could not think of a better time to welcome this trend back!
The mood ring craze was such a success that it generated $ 1M in revenue within the first three months of its being sold to the public. Each mood ring contains a temperature-sensitive liquid crystal encased in quartz. As the body temperature of the wearer changes, the crystal changes color, with each indicative of the wearer’s current mood or feeling…
We have come along way from the mood rings we all used to know. Now decked with opals and covered in gold, it might be due time to pick up your own all-telling ring!
