They might illustrate a line of B-25 bombers with the line, “keep ’em flying.” The American vernacular, the call to arms, the urgency-exactly what I wanted for my modern campaign. Today, our heroes are the common, the simple and can be right in our own backyard. For me, the backyard hen represents a hands-on, empowered approach to food and education.
