Large brooch of recent vintage – glass stones in emerald and purple. by RNEVE
This brooch was made in a design residence in Providence, RI in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I have shown both front and back. It showcases large oval glass stones that are emerald in the middle and purple around the edge, with a 2nd layer of glass rhinestones in the very same colors. This brooch does have some weight to it. It is 3 inches in diameter.

If you read my Etsy profile, you will certainly find that I have actually spent a significant part of my life searching the world for the very finest vintage beads and classic jewelry. My specialty is beaded outfit precious jewelry, which is a very challenging genre to gather. It’s difficult to discover precious jewelry in which every bead in the set is in good condition. In addition, one needs to understand the background of every kind of bead imaginable. As an MIT teacher who studies the brain, I know the best ways to move into a new field and discover everything that I can about it, and that is what I have performed in the field of vintage beads and fashion jewelry. When I am not thinking up experiments, I’m investigating the background of the many treasures that I have actually gathered. My collection of treasures permits me to provide 3 categories of products: my artisan precious jewelry that integrates vintage crystal, glass, and Lucite beads (RLNjewelry on Etsy); vintage necklaces, precious jewelry sets, and brooches RNEVE on Etsy); and classic beads and findings (RNEVEBEADS on Etsy)
