Leaf Stack: A fall breeze breaks loose a shower of leaves. A thousand colors in a rain swirling through the air. Being up to a stack, raked into a lot of magical swirling color
Shetland:. This is an ancient sheep type of much debated origins. They’re renowned for staying in the Scottish Highlands on the high hills. It’s a middle appeal fiber, on the softer end of the spectrum (soft sufficient for next to skin wear for me). It has a good loft and reputable bounce and memory. An excellent all around fiber for almost any function. This is among my preferred types. “In Sheeps Clothes” categorizes this as a downs wool since of the lock structure, while I usually classify it as an ancient breed due to the fact that some shetlands are still double (or perhaps triple) coated and it felts more quickly than most downs wools.
