Letterpress sympathy card with Eskimo proverb – two-color letterpress by PaperInkPress
5,00 USD
This card is letterpress printed with stars in a light blue color and an Eskimo proverb in dark blue, which reads & quot; Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy. & quot;
I love this Eskimo proverb, which is relevant not only for the recent death of a loved one, but also on the anniversary of the death or other special moments in life where the loved one is missed, such as a wedding or birth of a baby.
Each card is printed by hand, one card and one color at a time on my 1917 platen printing press and then scored by hand using my early 1900s table top press. Each card is cut, printed, scored, folded, and packaged by hand by me.
