20,00 USD This little Blue Jay has been hand shaped from a stoneware clay. He has actually been hand painted with underglazes and fired in my kiln. He was then provided a coat of clear glossy glaze, and fired a 2nd time

He will enjoy to sit anywhere with you – on your desk, a rack, a windowsill, in a terrarium or a houseplant. He has a little hole in the bottom which can be used to insert a toothpick to hold him in place on soft surface areas, such as moss.

Measures simply under one inch (2.5 cm) long!

No molds are ever utilized in my pieces. Because each piece is made by hand from start to finish, each little animal may differ a little, offering every one an unique personality. No piece leaves my studio till it brings a smile to my face!

< br/ > I utilize a blend of clay that is part porcelain and part stoneware. It has the smoothness and delicate appearance of porcelain, with the strength of stoneware. All my glazes are lead-free. All my pieces are initialed on the underside.
