20,00 USD This little chickadee has actually been hand sculpted from a stoneware clay. She has been hand painted with underglazes and fired in my kiln. She was then given a coat of clear glossy glaze, and fired a 2nd time

She will more than happy to sit anywhere with you – on your desk, a rack, a windowsill, in a terrarium or a houseplant. She has a little hole in the bottom which can be utilized to insert a toothpick to hold her in location on soft surfaces, such as moss.

No molds are ever used in my pieces. Since each piece is made by hand from start to finish, each little animal may differ slightly, giving each one an unique character. No piece leaves my studio till it brings a smile to my face!

< br/ > I utilize a blend of clay that is part porcelain and part stoneware. It has the smoothness and delicate appearance of porcelain, with the strength of stoneware. All my glazes are lead-free. All my pieces are initialed on the underside.
