“5/14/09 I have to agree with a couple of the Reviews.. The ingredients sounded fabulous.. as one person said.. “what’s not to love” but when grilled the ingredients lost a lot of their flavour and the chicken DID toughen a little bit. I think maybe the Parmesan cheese was the issue. Next time I will take it out as the other ingredients stand well, alone.”
“My husband and I thought this was fantastic.We grilled one very large chicken breast and 4 smaller tenderloins.He was a bit heavy handed with the sauce on the tenderloins and they turned out the best!I only had dried basil on hand, so I used 1 Tbl of that and added a dash of dried rosemary to the mix as well before blending and basting.Thanks for a great easy grill recipe!”
“Garlic, basil, rosemary and parmesan cheese…what’s not to love? Unfortunately this recipe was a bit of a disappointment. Without the benefit of a marinating acid and time the flavours seemed to fade while grilling and the chicken became a little tough. I would try this again, but make some substantial changes.
